By connecting motivated undergraduates with local professionals we foster synergetic relationships that

build upon community opportunities in the dynamic field of planning.

About us

With the help of AICP, and Paul Wack and Eric Zimmerman as faculty advisors, the EPC has garnered the support of many local professionals who have contributed to our mission by participating in a diverse range of presentations and events. We build coalitions on campus with environmental and planning-related student organizations and in the local professional community by inviting speakers for discussion.

The unique aspect of our mission is our dedication to presenting keynote speakers with insightful perspectives and backgrounds in order to discuss their educational and career paths, the projects they work on, and advice they share based on these experiences.

The EPC is fortunate to host many local professionals who contribute their own perspectives and stories to help students learn about a wide range of subjects including city and county planning commissions, transportation planning, consulting, real estate development, and watershed management.
